Background
We’ve been in business for almost 60 years. Our initial focus was commercial and residential construction before establishing an office and shop interior division in the early 1990s. All of this served as an ‘apprenticeship’ for what we are today. A leading commercial interior design and fitout company, proud of its Whangarei origins, where we are still active, headquartered in Auckland and working out of Wellington and Sydney. We’re a third-generation family business. This is a pedigree that provides us with a real sense of who we are and what we stand for. It has allowed us to build a culture that shapes not only how we do business, but also drives us to evolve and develop.

The collaboration, and the co creation, having people together was important that we created a wide space that brings in the energy and allows the people to do the best at what they are. We wanted to create a space for our people to work and connect with each other and bring customers in. Having a space that allows them to be flexible in the way we grow.
We completed a fit out so that we could meet the future vision and aspirations of Salesforce New Zealand. We wanted a place that met the design needs to foster both internally and externally customers and partners. Our staff absolutely love the space, they come in here and they feel refreshed every day.
The team at Studio DB worked very collaboratively, with us, with the architects and with the subcontractors that were involved. They solved lots of problems for us and came up with solutions and they worked tirelessly to ensure that we got to move into our building on time.
When we engaged with Studio DB, we shared a vison of utilisation of some space on the ground floor here, and out of that vision we worked together on a plan and one of the the key bits we really liked about Studio DB was their willingness to engage other artists and cultural people to being that vision to life which ultimately has lead to this whanua hub we are standing in today that looked exactly like the vision that was plan end a year before it.
Studio DB created a modern, professional, and state of the art showroom. We chose Studio DB because they were local and provided both quality products and quality finish in work. Studio DB made a great office space that has increased staff morale, productivity and general well-being.
From conception to completion, Studio DB delivered an inspirational yet highly functional office design on time and within budget. They took care of everything from the onset and kept us informed every step of the way.
Studio DB were proactive in their approach while running out progressive budgeting after key design revisions. They listened to our needs and while keeping the space functional and clean, they maximised the floor space to get the best return on investment for us.
